WV Department of Agriculture Hosts Beginner Beekeeping Classes

BEGINNER BEEKEEPING CLASS PRESENTED BY THE WV DEPARTMENT OF AGRICULTURE

JAN 7TH, 14TH, 21ST, and 28TH

If you or a family member are a Veteran, or are currently serving our country, please pick up the training information for the Veterans and Warriors to Agriculture Beekeeping Program when you come by Sugar Bottom Farm. This year we are excited that the West Virginia Department of Agriculture has partnered with the Farmer Veterans Coalition under the Homegrown By Hero’s label.

SUGAR BOTTOM FARM will be hosting A FOUR PART, FREE TRAINING CLASS to help newcomers into Beekeeping. This class is FREE AND OPEN TO ALL. The Beginner classes are catered to anyone who may be considering Beekeeping as a hobby, a sideline income, or even as a business.

This class will be held from 1pm until 4pm on Sundays JANUARY 7th, 14TH, 21ST, and 28TH. This series of four classes will be taught by Commercial Beekeeper and Apiary owner Eric Grandon of Sugar Bottom Farm. Eric Grandon is also a Regional Apiary Trainer for the West Virginia Dept. of Agriculture’s Veterans and Warriors to Agriculture Program.

These FREE CLASSES are being held at THE SUMMERSVILLE ARENA AND CONFERENCE CENTER at 3 Armory Way Summersville, WV, 26651
